Royal Oak Man Drowns While Swimming in Rochester Hills Park

From Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett Yesterday marked an incredibly sad day for our City. Last evening I received word of a drowning at Carter Lake at Spencer Park. As we await final details regarding this situation from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, our prayers and condolences go out to the immediate family and friends of the deceased. Adams Road Opens for Holiday Weekend

Rochester Hills, Michigan–The City of Rochester Hills was pleased to welcome the President of the Republic of Albania, his Excellency Mr. Bamir Topi at an exclusive event at St. Paul’s Albanian Catholic Church, in Rochester Hills.  The event was at 11:00 a.m. on September 22, 2010 where the President placed wreathes beside the statues of Gjergj Kastriot Skenderbeu, a prominent historical figure in the history of Albania, and Nene Tereza (Mother Teresa).
