Avondale Students to Host Packing Party for Desert Angel

On Wednesday, July 29, Avondale School District elementary students attending Avondale Youth Assistance Summer Kids Camp will be packing “Miracle Boxes” for members of our armed services who are stationed overseas. Students will also write a personal message for each of the recipients thanking them for their service to our country.

Avondale Students will be helping to pack 50 boxes with items donated from the Auburn Hills, Michigan American Legion Post #145 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Avondale Meadows Learning Center located at 1435 W. Auburn Road in Rochester Hills, MI.

For more information, contact Ms. Colleen Sieh, Avondale Youth Assistance Summer Program Coordinator, at avondaleyouth@gmail.com.
