The Sheriff’s Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal vehicle/pedestrian hit and run crash that occurred upon northbound Telegraph Road near Menoninee Street at 7:10 p.m. in Pontiac. A 53 year old homeless resident of Pontiac was killed when he was struck in the left lane by an unknown vehicle as he attempting to cross Telegraph Rd. Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Team Activated, Public’s Help Needed

At approximately 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Johnnie Derek Rogers II  DOB 01/12/92  was released in error from OCJ.  Rogers was in OCJ since August 1st from the Michigan Department of Corrections to address charges in Oakland County for carrying a concealed weapon and for carrying a weapon in a school zone. He was sentenced at the 6th Circuit Court yesterday to 153 days with credit for time served in the state prison system. Deputies responded to a business (Walgreens) located in the 2000 Block of Rochester Rd.  for an armed robbery that occurred late Thursday evening. It was reported that a white male with a mustache had just robbed the business at knifepoint and had taken the cash drawer. The suspect was last seen running from the business south on Rochester Road. Trouble on Tienken Two incidents in Rochester Hills were reported by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office today: Death Investigation Deputies along with the Rochester Hills Fire Department responded to a residence located in the 2900 block of W. Fourteen Year Old Approached by Man in Lexus in Oakland Township

Deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of Invitational Drive on the report of a suspicious older white male driving a black sedan that approached a 14 year old boy in the neighborhood. The male driver stated "Come help me, can you come to my car".  After being approached, the boy ran inside to get the house sitter. Once the sitter approached the white male who she described as age of 55 to 60, he drove away.
