Ford Test-Drive Event Raises Funds for Avondale Schools

Patrick Scoggin, President and Owner of Huntington Ford in Rochester Hills presented a check for $2,960 to Avondale Schools for the recently completed Ford Drive One 4 UR School event.  This widely popular test-drive program allowed Ford Motor Company and Huntington Ford to partner with Avondale’s Education Foundation and local community members to “get behind the wheel” of the new Ford vehicles and raise funds for the school by test-driving an eligible Ford product. The City of Rochester Hills is now accepting applications through Friday, May 11, 2012, for consideration for membership on the 2012-2013 Rochester Hills Government Youth Council (RHGYC). Rochester, MI – Rochester Community Schools Board of Education has met the rigorous requirements to be named to the distinguished list of the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) Board Visionary Leadership Award winners.
