Midweek Meander Cider Mill Hike

Midweek Meander Cider Mill Hike

Meet at 10:30 a.m. under the large covered porch at the Paint Creek Cider Mill building at 4480 Orion Road, Oakland Twp. (about 2 1/2 miles north from Rochester Road). Paint Creek Cider Mill (lots of free parking) is a large cedar building. From there we’ll explore the new bike trail that leads to a new bridge location over Paint Creek to the Paint Creek Trail. Then we’ll hike down the Mill Race Trail through Mill Race Park, cross Orion Road, and continue to the Goodison Cider Mill (about 1/4 mile away) for cider, donuts and a tour of fully operational mill. We’ll then walk through the small village of Goodison and back to the Paint Creek Cider Mill for more tasty snacks. We’ll end the tour here for lunch.
