Remembering Rea Siffring

Rea Siffring passed peacefully on May 18, 2018, after suffering a stroke in the North Carolina mountain home of her Daughter and Son-in-Law, Jenny and Jim Fitzpatrick. She was surrounded by her family. Having frequently visited the area over the last 30 years with her Husband, Dr. Loren Siffring, this time they came to celebrate their Granddaughter's High School Graduation. Dr. Loren Siffring’s Art on Display at Rochester Hills Public Library

To be asked back a second time is the ultimate compliment for an artist. Rochester Media was able to catch up with the ever-creative, ever-inspiring local artist Loren Siffring. At 82 years young, Loren continues to put out pastel painting after pastel painting. He has been asked back by the staff at the Rochester Hills Public Library to display his artwork for the month of December. Second Annual Sunday Painters is a Huge Success

Art was everywhere during the 45th annual Art & Apples Festival as Rochester Community House hosted their annual “Sunday Painters Art Show.” This year, 31 artists with a total of 60 pieces of art were a part of the show.
