Dear Crabby, I hear fewer stores are opening on Thanksgiving this year, is this true, are we getting back to the way things used to be? Why War?

My family and I had the privilege of visiting Washington, D.C. over Easter weekend. It was really special getting to see all the different monuments and reflect on the sacrifices made for us. While it was difficult to answer our son's questions, my husband and I did the best we could. The only question we couldn't really answer was, "Why war?" No Candy Easter Baskets

I have a huge sweet tooth. If candy is in the house then I'll eat it. Unfortunately, my son inherited his love of sweets from me, so if I have candy in the house then we will fight over it. Not literally, but more in the sense that he knows it's there and will either climb on kitchen counters to find it (because he knows I put it up high) or he will beg incessantly for it. The Mysterious Pageant Play at Oakland University- With Video

Originally done by European clergy in Latin, the medieval Pageant Play “style” offered towns a chance to celebrate the holiday, have fun, and witness scenes from the Bible.
