City Manager Vettraino to Serve the Community in a New Position

During the City Council meeting on May 26, 2015, Rochester City Manager Jaymes Vettraino informed City Council that he has accepted a new position in the community that will allow him to serve the greater Rochester area in a different way. City of Rochester Ranked First in Michigan and 16th Nationally for Increasing Home Values

The City of Rochester was recently ranked first in Michigan and 16th in the nation by NerdWallet among the country’s cities with the fastest increasing home values. The designation was based on data from the real estate website Zillow.com, which identified the cities with the biggest increase in home values since 2009. City of Rochester Wins Michigan Citizen Corps CERT Team of the Year

The City of Rochester Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT), sponsored by the Rochester Fire Department, was awarded the Michigan Citizen Corps ‘Team of the Year” at the State Citizen’s Corp Conference held in Traverse City in December.  The CERT team is one of 313 CERT teams in the State of Michigan that were considered for the 2014 State award.
