Fletcher will also share photos and inside information on routes in the country as well as the local area and raffle off a free canoeing or kayaking trip.

“As patrons arrive we’ll be handing out raffle tickets for a kayak day trip gift certificate. One of the free trips has been donated by the Clinton River Canoe & Kayak livery … other trips available for the winner(s) are on the Huron and the U.P.’s Manistique and Fox Rivers.”

“With the amount of rivers and lakes in Michigan, our community will benefit from the trips being raffled off and pointers Doc will provide,” says Rochester Hills Public Library Community Relations Specialist Amanda Harrison Keighley.

This lecture will take place in the Multipurpose Room and is open to everyone with an RHPL library card at no cost but patrons must register in advance at www.RHPL.org.
