Missing Coonhound McKenzie

Just South of Rochester Hills, mostly in the Troy Area, posters for a lost dog named McKenzie are still up and sightings are still coming in. The wandering Treeing Walker Coonhound went missing June 22, 2016 from a residence in Ferndale. She was spooked by fireworks being set off and jumped a fence. She ran in a blind panic and has been lost ever since. A vigilant campaign was launched to keep the word out that she is still being seen. Paul and Jennifer Bialy took over as owners of Massage Heights in Rochester Hills on the first of May this year. The Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting welcoming them to the chamber. Next to Trader Joe's at Walton and Adams, this franchise first opened in 2008, sold in 2013, and again this year. The Bialy's bring local ownership and control back to this location. Jo-Ed Spitzer inspired people – students, family, and friends – to be creative and to enjoy making art. Many will remember Jo-Ed from Rochester Adams High or West Junior High. He was an art teacher with the Rochester Community Schools from September 1970 until June 2006. He passed away on his birthday at the age of 76 from complications with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
