Mayor Bryan K. Barnett will deliver his 13th State of the City address on Thursday, April 25 at Rochester Adams High School.

The State of the City Address is an annual must-see event where business leaders, residents, and other government officials come together to hear about the community’s highlights, planned initiatives, and of course, see a few surprises.

To celebrate the city’s 35 years, this event will take guests back to the decade of totally rad fashion, fun music, and funky style. Grab your friends (and your legwarmers) and experience this one of a kind municipal speech.

The Rochester Hills’ State of the City has become known for not only announcing the city’s future initiatives but doing it in an innovative and creative fashion. Guests will clap and dance the night away to classic 80s hits all while learning more about our community.

“Every year our team comes together to tell our story in a way that continues to be met with wild enthusiasm from our residents,” states Mayor Bryan K. Barnett. “I’m excited to share our totally tubular story and look forward to like…celebrating with like … our residents in true 80s style.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is going fast. To RSVP, call 248-656-4600 or email mayorsoffice@rochesterhills.org.
