Ribbon Cutting: Starting Line Health and Fitness

Chip Werner founded Starting Line Health and Fitness in 2010 “with a desire to create a different experience for athletes as well as coaches,” said Werner. “I am a 20+ year veteran coach in the sports and fitness world. I watched my beloved field become a corporate monster where clients became investment opportunities. Our athletes, their goals, and our commitment are the sole focus of this business.”

What kind of athletes are your customers?

“We train high school, college, and professional athletes to enhance performance in their given sport. The SAID (Specific Adaptation to an Imposed Demand) principle is the foundation of our sport specific programming. We work with the client and their coaches to determine the specific needs then select the appropriate training focus which includes speed, agility and strength conditioning. We use the same focus with our adult weekend warriors to increase mobility, enhance strength and prevent injury.” ~Chip Werner
