Small Business Saturday Coming to Downtown Rochester on November 28!

Join the merchants of downtown Rochester on Saturday, November 28 for Small Business Saturday! Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to strengthening the community by supporting local small businesses. The Rochester Downtown Development Authority has joined more than 400 advocacy organizations that have made it a mission to bring business to their downtown areas on this day.

Now in its sixth year, Small Business Saturday serves as the ceremonial kickoff to the holiday shopping season for small businesses across the United States. In 2014, nearly 3,000 Neighborhood Champions rallied local businesses and created events and activities to drive shopping at small businesses around the country. The day was also championed by elected officials in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., including President Obama.

The Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA), an official supporter of Small Business Saturday, along with Carriage Ride Sponsor, Lake Trust Credit Union will offer free carriage rides from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on November 28. The carriage rides will pick-up at the corner of E. Fourth & Main Street. Rides will be given on a first come, first serve basis with no advanced reservation accepted.
