City of Rochester Announces State of the City Address

The City of Rochester will hold its annual State of the City Address on Monday, April 17, 7:00 p.m. at the Royal Park Hotel. The event will include an update on new projects and developments happening within the City, as well information on several events in celebration of Rochester’s Bicentennial year.

“I am excited and looking forward to sharing what is going on in Rochester at the April 17 State of the city event, stated Mayor Cathy Daldin. “We have lots of good news coming.”

New this year, the State of the City will also include a Downtown Update, provided by Deputy City Manager Nik Banda. In prior years, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has held an Annual Business Meeting event in June. “There is a lot happening downtown – new stores, new developments and I am happy to share those items and many more with our residents,” commented Banda.
