Five Adams High School Students Raise Funds for Exterior Building Sign

Five Rochester Adams High School seniors made a permanent, positive mark on their school. After a successful fundraising initiative and project management, they added an 8-foot lighted LED sign with the Adams logo to the building’s exterior. The sign hangs near the athletic entrance and is visible from Adams Road. Water at Rochester Community Schools Certified Safe

Mercury Not Detected in Certified Lab Testing The City of Rochester Hills has been advised by Paragon Laboratories that the results of all water test samples taken at Van Hoosen Middle School and Rochester Adams High School have not detected mercury in the water samples. Rochester Community Schools Recognized for Academic Excellence

U.S. Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos announced today that three schools within the Rochester Community School District were awarded National Blue Ribbon status for 2017. Only 13 schools were nominated statewide. Brewster Elementary, Hamlin Elementary, and Rochester Adams High School received recognition under the 2017 National Blue Ribbon Program. Jo-Ed Spitzer inspired people – students, family, and friends – to be creative and to enjoy making art. Many will remember Jo-Ed from Rochester Adams High or West Junior High. He was an art teacher with the Rochester Community Schools from September 1970 until June 2006. He passed away on his birthday at the age of 76 from complications with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
