Rochester Community House Announces Spring Collectible Show

Search for Rare Items Launched for April 21-22 Event

Members of the public are invited to peruse tables of collectibles and even take home treasures that catch their eye at the Rochester Community House’s spring show and sale, Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22.

Collectors looking to downsize, people who want to consign a some items and dealers in collectibles have been secured to attend the event, and more are still being sought.

A highlight of the show is a 40-year collection of more than 300 fine bone China tea cups and saucers that were donated to the the Community House by Rochester resident Patricia Kane in July.

The event will feature a wide array of other items, including dolls, bears, stamps, sports memorabilia, trading cards, Frank Sinatra memorabilia and miniature cars. A consignment table will be set up for vendors who have a few items to sell.

Deadline for table registration is April 2. Table rental is $35 for one day, $50 for two days and will include an 8-foot table, set and covered, two chairs and table signage. Vendors also may choose to bring their own tables to fit the space. Doors will open to vendors at 7:30 a.m.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3 for adults, kids free (no strollers). Parking is free. Rochester Community House is at 816 Ludlow in Rochester.
